Fortix is proud to announce its partnership as one of the primary sponsors of the DART Institute Australia and its Safe & Together™ Model CORE Training.
This internationally accredited program is dedicated to equipping frontline workers with essential skills to address family and domestic violence (FDV). As one of the few organizations in Western Australia providing evidence-based training in this critical area, DART is committed to improving outcomes for families affected by domestic abuse.
The Safe & Together™ Model CORE Training focuses on empowering professionals to:
- Partner with victim-survivors to provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive support.
- Engage perpetrators in ways that promote change and reduce harm.
- Equip workers with practical tools to confidently assess risk, identify family violence, and intervene effectively.
However, many frontline workers in FDV face barriers such as financial limitations and limited access to training. With Fortix’s support, DART aims to remove these obstacles and offer critical training opportunities free of charge. This initiative comes at a crucial time, as funding for training programs is tight, and the demand for skilled frontline workers is growing.
Why Sponsorship Matters
DART’s training is not just about professional development—it is about saving lives. The Safe & Together™ Model has already proven successful in reducing domestic violence rates, such as in the City of Armadale, where frontline workers have implemented the model’s strategies to create safer communities. With Christmas around the corner and the 16 Days in WA campaign approaching, ensuring frontline workers are prepared is essential.
To continue providing this life-changing training, DART needs your support. Every dollar raised goes directly towards helping frontline professionals—those who are the first point of contact for families experiencing violence—access this internationally recognized program.
How You Can Help
Fortix encourages you to spread the word about this initiative and help find additional supporters or partners who are passionate about family and domestic violence prevention. Every contribution helps provide training for professionals who can make a lasting impact on the lives of families facing FDV.
If you or your network are interested in contributing, please reach out to Sharon Tanner at [email protected]. Together, we can help protect more families and foster safer communities across Western Australia.
By supporting this initiative, you’re not only strengthening the capabilities of frontline workers but also helping to break the cycle of violence in homes, schools, and workplaces.
