Fortix was founded in 2004 by Paul Faix in Western Australia. Originally from Slovakia, Paul moved to Australia in 2000 with a background in information management science. He started Fortix to create tools that would help people grow their businesses, leveraging the emerging shift to cloud computing.
Despite initial personal challenges and a steep learning curve, Paul’s experiences fueled the creation of Fortix. Over the next decade, Fortix evolved from a software provider to a trusted partner, developing tailored solutions that support both clients and employees.

One of the early challenges was talent acquisition. Paul recognised the opportunity to tap into global talent pools, enabling Fortix to build a diverse team across Australia, Asia, and Europe, with plans for further expansion.
