A good friend of mine and long term loyal client Tim Lawrence sent me a link to this great video where Tony Seba shared facts and a vision for the near future.
I don’t know about you, but I’m so excited about what is coming! I recommend that you make time to watch this presentation. I loved the fact that Tony used historical growth data and compared it with what is happening right now while also linking it to the future.
So what did I find so fascinating about Tony’s presentation?
- Experts are often the first to dismiss disruptive technologies. They are so immersed in their own knowledge and expertise that many times new innovative concepts are beyond their vision. I understand why most knowledgeable people I discuss disruption with are naysayers. This makes lot of sense.
- The fact that I can get to my next meeting without a driver or having to drive myself. My schedule is very busy and I need to meet with people in person. That’s how I do business. I’m not yet in a position to fly my own chopper so a car is my only option. Having an autonomous car that could safely deliver me to my next meeting while I make a few calls and do some work is a very exciting proposition to me.
- By embracing shared electric vehicles on demand, the need for parking is removed, also removing the burden of parking fees! The options for the use of the parking places that will not be needed when we get onto the sharing of electric vehicles on demand. Yes, I will sell all my cars.
Fortix is helping established organisations use innovation for growth. Last week I met with one of the largest, most influential insurance companies, who are moving to create new services as their market is diminishing. I was inspired by their vision and their understanding that disruption will change their business.
You too may be looking forward to future growth and saying – we need help.
